About Full-On Riker

Full-On Riker Productions was founded in 2023 as an independent production company built around filmmaking, storytelling, and virtual production.

The company’s first major project, Chased by Shadows, began as an exploration of virtual production before evolving into a low-budget film competition project. Since then, Full-On Riker has completed three films, with its fourth project currently in development, while continuing to expand into publishing and other forms of independent storytelling.

Full-On Riker is headed by filmmaker and author John Ragsdale, who has written more than 70 screenplays and is currently developing more than ten novels. John holds a master’s degree in Media Arts from the University of Montana, with a focus on filmmaking and visual storytelling.

In addition to filmmaking and novel writing, John has worked with virtual production extensively and has been brought onto outside projects as a virtual production consultant.
